Seaside

The iconic towns and beaches of the French Riviera!

Heading west

Fréjus (8km). A historic town with a rich ancient heritage (Roman amphitheater, thermal baths, aqueducts, and medieval ramparts). Stroll through the old town and discover its hidden treasures.
Saint-Aygulf (9.3 km). At the gateway to the Camargue Varoise, Saint-Aygulf has everything to please, from white sandy beaches with extraordinary views of the Fréjus-Saint-Raphael bay to protected areas of wild landscapes around the Etangs de Villepey where you can stroll (but beware of mosquitoes during hot weather).
Port Grimaud (48km), the Venice of Provence, with its canals, bridges, and colorful houses… The best way to explore it is by boat!
Saint-Tropez (55km). An internationally renowned gem! Lively evenings, legendary beaches, and a glamorous atmosphere await you!

 

Heading east

Saint-Raphaël (11km). A charming and lively town, enjoy the markets and stroll along the old port. Don’t forget to visit the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Victoire and the Louis De Funès museum.
Cannes (40km). Famous for its film festival, stroll along the Croisette and through the chic boutiques like a real movie star.
Antibes (50km). La Dolce Vita, between the ramparts and crystal-clear beaches, discover Cap d’Antibes, not forgetting the Picasso Museum.
Nice (65km). Stroll through the colorful streets of Old Nice and enjoy the sun on the legendary Promenade des Anglais.
Monaco (87km). Come and live the Prince’s dream! Stroll along the majestic Rock of Monaco with its impressive view of the Mediterranean. Dream of yachts and try your luck at the Monte-Carlo Casino. Don’t miss the Oceanographic Museum.
Menton (95km). Located on the Italian border, this small town with its colorful houses is sure to charm you. It is well known for its lemon festival.

 

Land

Small villages and hikes

The hilltop villages of the Pays de Fayence (25 km)

Bagnols en Forêt. A typical Provençal village and starting point for several hikes, such as the Blavet Gorges, Pic de la Gardiette, and the historic site of Oppidum.
Saint Paul en Forêt. A peaceful, green village and starting point for hikes to Lac du Rioutard and Lac de Méaulx.
Fayence. A hilltop village dominated by its clock tower. Magnificent panorama of the Esterel Massif.
Mons. A village full of character with narrow streets, fountains, and stone houses. Enjoy its discovery trail or its “in the footsteps of biodiversity” trail.
Tourrettes. With unobstructed views of the surrounding villages, let yourself be charmed by the art galleries in its cobbled streets and vaulted passageways.
Callian. Dominated by the ruins of its medieval castle, this charming village offers beautiful views of Lake Saint-Cassien. Callian is known for having welcomed various artists and writers, including Christian Dior. Starting point for short walks such as Le Vallon de Saint-Donat.
Seillans. Listed as one of the “Most Beautiful Villages in France.” A delightful village with medieval remains. Starting point for walks such as Les Bories or Le Mas des Combes Longues
Montauroux. Renowned for its Provençal market and festivals (International Guitar Festival). Starting point for hikes such as La boucle du Pont des Tuves or La boucle ornithologique de la Réserve

 

Further afield

Bargème (55km). A medieval village listed among the “Most Beautiful Villages in France.” In this timeless village, where the remains of an ancient 12th-13th century feudal castle still stand, admire the fortified gates, ramparts, historic chapels, and Romanesque church. Starting point for numerous marked trails.
Saint Paul de Vence (66km). In the Nice hinterland, explore one of the most famous villages on the French Riviera, known for its perfectly preserved medieval heritage. Many art galleries, studios, and museums are located here. This village has welcomed many artists and writers, including Marc Chagall.
Moustiers Sainte Marie (87km). A hilltop village in the Alpes Haute Provence, in the heart of the Gorges du Verdon, renowned for its traditional earthenware. Explore the Chapelle Notre Dame de Beauvoir, accessible via a small path from the village. A place steeped in history with spectacular views.
